JOSHUA LARKE
GRAPHIC DESIGN
To create this typeface, I designed and printed stamps using the 3D software 'Blender' and a 3D printer to create each letter.
The main logo uses the stamped typeface with the entire brand name stacked on top of each other. There is also a smaller brand mark with just “L&B”, which can also be used for smaller applications, such as Social Media profile pictures.
The identity needed to feel crafted and genuinely independent. Not a brand that just looks handmade, but one that actually is.
The tote bags and event posters showcase the logo and typeface across various touchpoints. I wanted to keep the brand identity restricted to just the typeface as much as possible, as this was the main element of the brand. I did, however, introduce some pattern illustrations which are meant to resemble the spines of vintage books.
